1. Seismo-Quake® Quake Generator is the first electronic kit in the Seismo-Quake® range of educational electronic kits.


What is the Seismo-Quake® Quake Generator ?

Create your own shakes, resembling earthquakes with Seismo-Quake® ! Expand with additional exciting electronic kits and construct your own Seismo-Quake® neighbourhood. Hook up a small 9 Volt (or PP3) battery and create a Seismo-Quake® earthquake from a tremble to a shake !


Architecture

Seismo-Quake® Quake Generator consist of mounting boards for the pre-assembled printed circuit boards (PCBs) and the Seismo-Quake® neighbourhood and a direct current (DC) electric motor.


Key Features

Electrically safe to use with no alternating current (AC) mains connections.

Power source is a 9 Volt (or PP3) battery (not included).

Ease of assembly with a flat pointed and a star pointed screwdriver (not included).

Seismo-Quake® Quake Generator as earthquake creator for your Seismo-Quake® kit.

Valuable knowledge for education in electronics. Include a direct current (DC) electric motor.

Additional expansion for model hobbyist.


Assembling

Assembling the Seismo-Quake® Quake Generator kit, attach the 9 Volt (or PP3) battery clip of the direct current (DC) electric motor to the 9 Volt (or PP3) battery clip of Seismo-Quake® Quake Control marked OUT on the printed circuit board (PCB). Remember to note the polarity. The red colour coded wire connects to +V and the black colour coded wire connects to GND. Congratulations, you have added the ability to introduce resembling earthquakes to your Seismo-Quake® neighbourhood !


Hints and Tips

For a more economical approach use NiMH rechargeable batteries.
